Social Studies Final Project
Political Structure
On top of my Political Structure is the king. He holds the most power and was chosen by the gods. I chose this because in Mesopotamia, the king is chosen by the gods which makes him more powerful. Government officials were the next most important, and they made some decisions. I chose government officials from the Rome society. Patricians are also from Rome and they are the equivalent of nobles. Patricians also made up the jury. In conclusion, I chose an Important king, government officials, and patricians.
Social Structure
My Social Structure is similar to my political structure. I just added citizens. Citizens are normal people, and are the lowest class. Almost any one can be a citizen. Citizens are divided into several groups. Craftsmen, farmers, merchants, and some times servants to the king. In conclusion, citizens are normal people.
Communication
The language that my civilization speaks is English. Its based off of Latin (from Rome). For writing they use clay tablets, which is from Mesopotamia. People always write down laws (on clay tablets). In conclusion my language is English, and instead of paper there is clay tablets.
Religion and beliefs
Religion and beliefs for my civilization are pretty simple. From Greece, they believe in the Greek gods and respect them etc... People believe that the gods are like people (they have feelings, etc...) In conclusion, they believed in Greek gods.

Economy
Merchants, farmers, and craftsmen are all citizens. Merchants sell things that sometimes craftsmen make. Farmers grow crops, and food. They are all in the same social class - citizens. People who are not in any of these groups can become a soldier who fights in war. People also live with their family. Even though they are all different they are all of the same social class.
Technology
Three things that thy use as technology are roads, coins, and temples. Roads make it easier to get to places. I got roads from Greece. You can use coins as money. 1 coin is equal to a U.S. penny. You can use coins to buy things, and I got them from Greece. They use temples to honer the gods. (From Egypt) Overall those are some examples of technology they used.
Asthetics
There are some aesthetics that I want to incorporate in my society. From both Mesopotamia and Egypt is jewelry and sculptures. Sculptures are made for important people of the gods. From Israel is temples to warship the gods. Those are some ideas for aesthetics.
Geography
The geography would be near Mesopotamia. Or near the Persian gulf. I like the geography of Mesopotamia, so that's why I would choose this. The Persian gulf would be a good water source also. It also has a lot of fertile farmland. That is what I have on geography.
